The accommodation features an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. There's one king-size bedroom on the ground floor and a mezzanine king-size (which can be converted to twins) accessed by ladder. The ground-floor shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Though some guests mentioned a weak toilet flush - but hey, we've all had performance issues at some point!
Visit Rhayader (4.2 miles, 10 minutes) for shops and restaurants, Llandrindod Wells (10 miles, 20 minutes) for Victorian architecture, or Elan Valley (7 miles, 15 minutes) for spectacular dams and reservoirs. Gilfach Nature Reserve (5 miles, 12 minutes) offers excellent wildlife spotting opportunities.
