Llangunllo at The Old Smithy Reviews

We stayed at the cottage on monday 30th June till the friday 4th.The cottage is beautiful inside and out.Very clean, amazing hot tub and comfy beds.Lovely scenery... lovely garden area for dogs. After reading other reviews about this cottage about the welcome pack, fresh cakes, wine ( also in comment book in cottage) how amazing the welcome pack was .We was very disappointed to see on the table tescos crisps, fox biscuits, packet of Welsh cakes. Also the pub next door that is advertised on here, it's only open Wednesday- Sunday. Didn't know when we booked about the times. If going to this cottage I would recommend bringing your own BBQ and a garden umbrella as when we stayed the weather was so hot it definitely needed some shade. However the cottage was very clean and tidy and bathroom shower was lovely.Recommend having a Chinese takeaway and fish and chips whist staying here.

Just back from 2 weeks at The old Smithy, and what a amazing holiday let this is, in a quiet small village with so much character, the beds were soooo comfy, it was spacious and clean, we also loved our welcome package of cake and wine (homemade lemon cake was to die for) and the hot tub is just wow, beautiful scenes while taking a soak after a long dayIt is slightly secluded with no local shop but a fabulous little pub next door. However it's only a 15 minute drive into knighton where you will find everything you needAnd sooo many beautiful places to explore close by and some great walks on the door step. We stayed as a couple with 2 dogs for our wedding anniversary and I'm sure we will be backThanks to Jane and john.
