We had an absolutely lovely stay! The three cottages suited our group perfectly, with plenty of space and privacy. The owners are genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us, even sorting out a blocked toilet caused by previous guests, which we appreciated. That said, the outdoor play area had been removed, possibly due to damage or safety concernsand it would've been nice if we'd been told about this beforehand. The games room was a bit disappointing - it's in a sorry state, with damaged or incomplete sports equipment everywhere, probably because the owners are focusing on building a new games room. The outdoor cigarette bins were overflowing and had a bit of an unpleasant smell, which wasn't great for a family with kids and non-smokers. The properties themselves were generally tidy but could do with a good dusting and some TLC. Despite these minor issues, the warm welcome and the lovely setting really made up for it - we'd love to come back soon!
