Evenjobb Court Farmhouse is a massive Grade II listed holiday home in rural Powys. This 9-bedroom Welsh beauty sits in the shadow of the Radnor Forest mountains. Sleeps up to 18 people across three floors of pure luxury. The first guests gave it 5 stars and called it "fabulous" - they weren't wrong.

The grounds are spectacular. You get enclosed gardens, a stream-fed pond and access to a large playing field with woodland. Perfect for big family gatherings or that weekend away with mates you've been promising for years. Two wood-fired hot tubs let you soak while taking in mountain views. Bit chilly after? Warm up by the woodburning stove. The owners even installed a warm outdoor dog shower for muddy pooches!

Inside is ridiculous. There's a baby grand piano in the music room, a cinema room with 75" TV and a games room with pool, air hockey and table tennis. The kitchen has twin dishwashers (thank god) and a wine cooler. Upstairs features a four-poster emperor bed that's bigger than some London flats.

Nearby attractions include Offa's Dyke Path (5 miles), perfect for hikers. Hergest Ridge (6 miles) offers stunning views. Presteigne (5.6 miles) has independent shops and cafes. Elan Valley (30 mins) delivers spectacular scenery and Victorian dams.

Stayed at this beautiful farmhouse for my birthday weekend with all the family including the dog and I have to say it was tremendous. There was nothing the owners hadnt thought of to ensure our stay was perfect. Its been renovated to a high spec and has great attention to detail. Hosts were welcoming and friendly. OMG! What a fabulous place! We were a party of 18 adults, 2 dogs and baby George, and we were celebrating my 75th birthday. We were the first to use the property, and to be honest, the quality of the furniture, fittings, towels, dressing gowns, bedding, etc, etc, were second to none. The owners are delightful and couldn't do enough for us. Would we recommend it, 150 !!!! We will definitely book it again!!!
