For those keen to explore, there are several attractions to discover nearby, such as the Grade I-listed medieval church of St Brannock, and Braunton Museum. Or you could take a ferry ride from Ilfracombe (7.5 miles) to see the puffins and possibly a pod of friendly dolphins following behind the boat.
