This two-bedroom lodge is one of three properties opposite the owner's home, surrounded by 3.5 acres of beautiful gardens. The location is brilliant. You've got direct access to Sugar Loaf Mountain paths right from your doorstep. Fancy a pint? The local pub is just half a mile away. Abergavenny's famous Food Festival happens every September and there are Michelin-starred restaurants within driving distance.

The lodge sleeps 4 people comfortably with one spacious double bedroom and a twin room that can convert to a continental double or king-size bed. The bright lounge features a vaulted ceiling, original beams, snug sofas and a TV/DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, induction hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There's a shower room with WC and guests have access to a shared laundry facility.

Visit Abergavenny (6 miles, 15 minutes), known as the gateway to Wales. Explore Crickhowell (4 miles, 10 minutes) with its independent shops. Hike up Sugar Loaf Mountain (2 miles, 5 minutes to trailhead) for spectacular views. Don't miss the magnificent Raglan Castle (12 miles, 25 minutes).
