About The Farm

The Farm is a stunning 5-bedroom countryside retreat perched high above the Welsh hills. This spacious property in Powys offers breathtaking panoramic views from every window. The Farm combines modern luxury with rural tranquillity - perfect for large families or groups wanting to escape the daily grind.

Set in peaceful surroundings with rolling green hills as far as the eye can see. The extensive grounds feature walking paths that have been thoughtfully maintained so you can clear your head while soaking up the spectacular landscape. Complete privacy guaranteed with nothing but sheep for company! After a day exploring, sink into the hot tub with a favourite drink - no one will hear you laughing till midnight.

The accommodation sleeps 12 guests across five bedrooms. There's a ground-floor king-size bedroom, two family rooms (one with super-king zip/link beds plus single, another with double and single) and two more bedrooms (king-size and double) with en-suite facilities. The property boasts four bathrooms total, a massive kitchen/diner with range cooker and two separate sitting rooms for when you need space from your in-laws.

Nearby attractions include the Judges' Lodgings Victorian museum in Presteigne (3.5 miles), the historic market town of Ludlow (20 miles) and Hay-on-Wye with its famous bookshops (19 miles). The Offa's Dyke Path offers excellent walking opportunities for all abilities.

A super equipped, well presented and located property. Couldnt fault it. By far the best place weve stayed at on our weekends of walking the Offas Dyke path.
I cannot fault the whole experience! Idyllic setting, was so peaceful. The property was immaculate, the beds comfortable, the showers both hot and powerful and the hot tub actually hot! This was a perfect base for our group of 8 to explore the wonderful Herefordshire countryside. The host was communicative, friendly and helpful at all times. We will return undoubtedly thank you
Gorgeous house, very comfortable, lovely to have so much space and option to swap beds! . Plenty of crockery. Hot tub a bit too chlorinated for some of our group but much enjoyed by others. Very helpful to have walk suggestions and maps available. 6 and 8 year old found plenty of interest at the Judge's Lodgings in Presteigne. Also had a wonderful day at Croft Castle

The Farm is an amazing property, and a very high standard. The attention to detail is second to none. Anita has provided everything you need, and things you don't think you need to make your stay perfect. The location is fantastic, surrounded by fields of sheep with their lambs. What better way to be woken in the morning, hearing and seeing nature at its best. We were a party of 11, from 4 to 85 and there was plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of each other. The kitchen is the hub of the house and where we spent most of the time. The games and dvds kept the children occupied whilst the hot tub catered for the adults. I will return to the Farm and already planning it for our daughters big birthday. Once again, thank you Anita and Rob for your hidden gem and making my 70th Birthday perfect.

The Farm is set in a beautiful spot, surrounded by wildlife and farm animals. Different every day. It was spotlessly clean, and beds were very comfortable. We were 3 families sharing, 11 of us and we all loved it. The hot tub was also amazing and would recommend a star gazing night as its so dark you can see so many! A beautiful farmhouse in a lovely location. Very well equipped and spacious and the host Anita was very welcoming and available if we had any concerns. The hot tub was an added bonus enjoyed by all, but particularly the children in our group who used it twice daily! Would definitely recommend this property and return again if visiting the area.

We stayed from 26th to the 2nd August, there was 10 of us in total ,the place was very clean and had everything we needed. The walks around the property were thought out and cleared your head as the views were spectacular , the hot tub was well used after our walks. We visited the Brecon Beacons it was easy to get to from the property and a few other local attractions. The granddaughters loved seeing the cows and calf's. Anita and Rob were very helpful and made us feel welcomed , Would we stay again yes. It was the best place we have stayed in so far. Thank you

Lovely property and perfect for a few days away. We were a group of 11 three families with children aged between 610. The property was spacious enough for all of us and perfectly clean. Everything you could need was provided for in the kitchen and there was a bonus hamper on arrival and lots of games and dvds for evening entertainment. We would definitely love to come back again.

Great place for a family get together, we were celebrating an 80th birthday, the house suited everyone's needs young or old. Loads of space to have your own space if you wanted it. House spotlessly clean, extra towels provided for hot tub and the best equipped kitchen we have had in a large property, it actually catered for the number of people staying which is often not the case. The views were amazing, from every window, the sky at night was literally out of this world on a clear night. We all had a great time and looking forward to staying at The Farm again in the future.
The Farm was perfect for our family, the kitchen was well equipped and was the hub for the holiday,eating, and playing games well into the night. The whole house was well maintained and very comfortable, and the showers were great would definitely recommend to all our friends.
Weve stayed in a lot of large properties as we do our group holiday each year, this was by far the best of them all. From the comfort of the beds to the amazing kitchen and space it was all perfect! We had the best visit to The Farm. Anita and her family were the greatest hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and Anita invited us up to the farm to see the baby lambs, it was wonderful.
