The lodge sits in the Welsh countryside with an unfenced lake nearby – perfect for those who fancy a bit of skinny dipping when nobody's looking.

Set in peaceful surroundings with stunning views, this property offers the perfect balance between rural seclusion and accessibility. The Elan Valley is just 5 miles away, with its magnificent dams and reservoirs. Spot red kites at the feeding centre 3 miles away or cycle through breathtaking landscapes. The hot tub fits six people – though we've found you can squeeze in eight if you're really good friends.

The accommodation features a bright open-plan lounge-kitchen-diner with all modern appliances including wine fridge (priorities!). All bedrooms have zip-and-link beds for flexible sleeping arrangements and Smart TVs in every bedroom. Ground floor has two king-size rooms (one en-suite), while upstairs offers two super-king-size rooms, both en-suite.
